 1.  I have basically learned how to make a jeopardy game from scratch which is a new experience, since I’ve only played it before. In this assignment, I've learned to link different slides together through various icons/shapes, including a home button. I definitely think the formatting could be improved, since the layout of the header is quite inconsistent. I don’t dislike anything in particular apart from the fact the background color changes whenever I try to copy and paste the previous slide. I quite like the finished product with its interactivity.  2. A lot of these surveys are used for acquiring teaching feedback from students. Students would rate how satisfied they are with the course, teaching style and materials they’ve received. On the other hand, I believe qualtrics could perhaps be used to give students feedback on their performance, by letting teachers put in both their scores and feedback, akin to a rubric.  3. Personally, I would like to learn how to...

I have not experienced distance learning in the k-12 setting but have done online learning for exactly a year. We used very basic meeting programs such as Zoom Google Classroom and Google Meets. I remember a few of the teachers using activity tools such as AP practice tests, Socrative and Class Discussion  Jack Mckenna describes open learning resources as teaching materials with an open license, that are allowed to be reused and repurposed without repercussions. Many open learning resources include essays, diagrams, and recorded lectures. As of now, since learning resources are so accessible on the internet, students can save a lot of money with textbooks and consequently reduce environmental pollution. I definitely learned how to work with a new program which is Microsoft powerpoint. Although it isn’t really any different from using google slides, I really liked the animation and formatting features it provides, as well as  multiple toolbars to customize each slide. ...

I’ve discovered a few new things about web design features including inserting a calendar and pdf document into the slide. I’ve also found ways to make the site more interactive using social icons, as well as relevant images.  I like Weebly for its easy navigation and the many custom features it provides, differing from WIX quite a bit. The most important thing I dislike about this program is the fact that I can’t verify myself to get in.   There are many ways a teacher could use a QR code including for access to class content, contact information or activities. A lot of teachers tend to use QR codes for activities like kahoot or quizizz, so students can have an easier time joining.   https://fsu.padlet.org/ik23/eme2040-generative-ai-cases-idam-kim-s0efwkvgnifw90rg/wish/lkROZPk598v3QjMg Chatgpt ironically gives a good guide to ethical use of AI and technology, both for students and teachers. In regards to teaching music, It touches upon points such as copyrigh...

1.  Visiting my former school’s website, Ruamrudee International School, with the exception of the graduates gallery and student portals, much of the content is accessible publicly. The gallery requires a password to view, and the student portals cannot be reached outside of thailand. As of now, teachers aren’t required to have their own websites, which is why there is no department section listed.  https://www.rism.ac.th/ 2. Although I intend on keeping things simple, I would like to experiment with programs that allow class discussion and collaboration which includes padlet and google workspace. Microsoft teams may also provide students with a good introduction to professional workspaces. Most importantly, I’d like to get students acquainted as soon as possible with MS Word, since it is a useful tool that introduces students to professional formatting, layouts and design, when it comes to word documents 3. Reflecting on assignment 2, I thought navigating through Canvas Group...

Blogging allows me to reflect and think more critically about my experiences and specific topics. Looking through my portfolio, I am able to see that I’ve not only looked back on the past, but also considered my future. I’ve also planned out how my lessons are going to adapt to 21st century learners, finding strategies to engage and guide students using current technology.  I used it to build a “lesson plan for 8th graders which explains music composition”. It laid out a clear and concise step by step plan which detailed the duration of each activity. The progression of each activity was also quite logical, though it doesn’t explain why the contents were arranged the way they were.  It should never be allowed on tests since it won’t demonstrate any grasp of content on the student's part. However, it could be a helpful tool for research and planning, possibly very effective in brainstorming the latter. As Scribr points out, it is unethical to use chatgpt if it checks copyright ...
