  1. Looking through the syllabus, there seems to be a lot of practical usage of technology in conjunction with classroom teaching. It includes elements of design, presentation and interactivity which are all important assets in 21st century instruction. I mainly hope to explore new ways I could interact with my class via technology, in a concise and accessible manner. With the class schedule and syllabus online, students will have much less confusion navigating through the course material.

  2. Starting in middle school, I was encouraged to use technology in the classroom in order to gain more access to different forms of information. In 7th grade, I used blogger.com to keep a portfolio of all my written work including essays and reviews. I was fortunate enough to have my blog showcased at a school event to many school visitors. 

  3. Since I am a music major, my professional network is tied closely to the music community. I visit many sites which are related to music composition since that is my main interest(hobby) and have also made a few acquaintances who share this same liking. My personal network obviously encompasses more than just the musical world; although my parents and close friends aren’t professional musicians, they have been a great influence on my personality and development as an individual. In regards to learning resources, apart from my formal education, I usually self-teach myself new skills using google, youtube and instructional method books.

    Wow a music major I have a friend that is considering that seems like a lot of work and time spent practicing. I also agree that this class will be helpful when learning how to use technology to better interact with the classroom as a whole.

  I’ve discovered a few new things about web design features including inserting a calendar and pdf document into the slide. I’ve also found ways to make the site more interactive using social icons, as well as relevant images.  I like Weebly for its easy navigation and the many custom features it provides, differing from WIX quite a bit. The most important thing I dislike about this program is the fact that I can’t verify myself to get in.   There are many ways a teacher could use a QR code including for access to class content, contact information or activities.
